James the Wanderer

On a snowshoe trip we met up with James who takes 4 mile walks following the same trail everyday.

He approached us with questions about our snowshoes.

We thought James would be just another aimless drifter, but little did we know what stories lay ahead.

He spun yarns of trip to Costa Rica where he climbed mountains in search of "Spiky Trees"

and the most amazing description of the "BigAss monkeys" of the island

who took pleasure in sneaking up on him and hurling "logs" and "boulders" at him,

"You may think you are sneaking up on them but they know where you are" warned James.

He also told us a story of the travels he had to endure to reach the nude beaches and all day parties of Thailand.

We hope to hear more of James' adventures, but I feel we may never see him again.
